You can read about the concept and see the whole chain HERE. After several beautiful cards, I get the honor of following ISHA who created this amazing card.
Isn't that cute?
I have been wanting to create a high contrast card for a few weeks, so I was inspired by the white ink on the black paper. After digging around in my stash, I FINALLY found a black piece of cardstock to use. You would think that a serious paper crafter would readily have black available, right? Apparently not.
You can see that I also pulled the red out as an accent color. I thought these circles from the Adored set by Technique Tuesday were perfect as they also had polka dots.
A HUGE thanks to Wida for starting this and allowing me to join in. It's a blast!

LOVE what you've done!
ReplyDeleteI always get a little excited as the post loads. And when you card appeared, in all it's glory, I think my eyes literally widened and I smiled with great admiration. this card is fantastic, seriously. I know you are a published, award winning designer and sometimes I wonder what that means. But I recognize it...seeing your card, I do. It's so trendy and fun, the off center labels and the little stitching. Well...this looks like it should be published or win something! Thank you for the kind words and for wanting to play along!!!
ReplyDeleteThis card is nothing short of awesome. Everything about it is perfect!!! I especially love the sentiment with the heart dotting the i, and then the stitching over the bottom of the letters!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a FUN idea! Love what you did here!
