Candy Corn Inspired Card

Halloween is right around the corner. Now, we aren't big Halloween peeps in our home, but sometimes I can't resist making a cute and spooky little card. Plus, my mom loves Halloween, so I know that I can always send her what I make.

Technique Tuesday threw out a challenge to its techs this week to create something inspired by this photo:

Let me just say that I'm not a fan of candy corn. I think it is one of those love, hate type of candies. You either love it, or you hate it. I would be the latter. But, it does make for a pretty picture and some good inspiration. Armed with the Leaves are Lovely by Ali Edwards and Chevrons Two Step stamp sets, I put this together.

The rest of the team has put together a few things to look at as well over on THE TECHNIQUE TUESDAY BLOG.

  1. This is such a cute card! I also am not a fan of candy corn, love the colors and shape, just not the taste and texture. Great card!
