CSS Group Project: White Out

Labor Day will be quickly approaching, and you fashionistas know what that means...no wearing white after Labor Day. This month's group challenge is to embrace white space, white embossing, white glitter, white ribbon...you name it and to create a white on white project. After tackling this project, perhaps the challenge should've been photographing a white on white project. If anyone has suggestions on how to best do that, I'm all ears. So, I apologize if it is difficult to see all of the white goodness.

Anyway, I decided that the best way to create texture was by embossing some stuff and then adding glitter! I used the banners from the FAVOR FLAGS FILLER set to span the top of my project.

Some glitter added using my glue pen and a few pearls finish it all out. Perhaps the rest of the team had better luck with their mad photographing skills. Be sure to check out their work by clicking through their blogs below.

Thanks for stopping by and if you're feeling extra brave, give this challenge a go yourself! Have a great day.

  2. Beautiful white creation Jax. My friend had to tell me about the "no white shoes" rule when I first moved to the mainland from HI. I was like, "Serious?". We didn't worry about seasons there~at least when I was growing up. I'm glad she educated me.
