August Studio AE from Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Hiya peeps!

I am beyond honored and thrilled to be participating in the STUDIO AE blog hop today! I absolutely adore Ali Edwards handwriting stamps and this month's release is a perfect example of it. Can you imagine what it must be like to have a whole stamp line based just off of the way you write! I sure can't; perhaps because I have some super sloppy handwriting.

I decided to do something different than a card today. If you are an avid crafter, you may know what it is like to have WAY too many projects sitting around that you've created and that will never, ever get any kind of use. In those instances, I sometimes like to re-purpose my items into a more usable form. Today's project is a re-purposed paint can that you can fill with neat-o items for a loved one.

To create this, I first stamped a strip of paper with the BACK of the stamp to create all of those colorful circles. I then flipped the stamp over and stamped the love image. I added a few ribbons and a tag using another stamp from this set.

Now, if your'e ready for your eyes to explode from visual stimulation, keep on hopping! And, if you do, the best part is you could win a prize-a-roo! Leave comments as you hop along, and one lucky person will be chosen to win a $25 gift certificate to TechniqueTuesday.com. The winner will be announced on Aug. 13th on the Technique Tuesday blog.
