I'm back again today with another series of stamps being released for this month's collection at Clear and Simple Stamps. Today, we are featuring SHAPES & BACKGROUNDS. I am absolutely loving all of the geometric sets being released over these past few months and this one is no exception.
To kick things off, I used the SQUARES PLUS set and created my very own background paper. Those of you who know me, know how much I love doing that. It turned out like this:
Once I had my paper completed, I used the new CUBE DIE to make a sweet little favor box.
This ends up being about 1 3/4" square - just big enough to fill with your special someone's favorite candy. (or if you're me, you'd rather see something with a big, bright precious gemstone staring back at you) I wrapped it with a ribbon and finished it off with a small tag created using the MINI SQUARES set.
Of course, no gift box is complete without a card to go with it, so I threw one of those together too, using the leftover scraps of paper I created.
Now I have a special set to give to my kids for being helpful around the house or for accomplishing a great task (like when my son was given the Good Sportsmanship award for baseball).
Be sure to click around and see how the rest of the design team has used shapes and backgrounds by visiting their blogs below.

You know I am in love with these background stamps...all kinds of gorgeousness you created!
