Christmas in July! (CSS Group Project)

Have you seen any ornaments, stockings or Santa's while out shopping yet? Yep, I have too. It's that whole Christmas in July thing. So, why not jump on the bandwagon? Today the girl's from Clear and Simple Stamps are celebrating the holidays. I chose Christmas, because, well, it's Christmas and nothing is more fun that that! And, I had this amazing idea of how to create a wreath from the new FAVOR FLAGS DIES. It looks a little something like this:

Isn't that neat? Wanna learn how to make it? It's really simple. I started by punching a circle using my 1" punch. Then, I created a ring by punch again around that circle with my 1 1/4" punch. I then die cut the banners from green and began to fold and glue them around the ring. I started by leaving a few gaps as I went around and then overlapped the second time around. (see below)

To finish it off, I added a bow and another banner with the sentiment. I also loved how the woodgrain square from MINI SQUARES tied it all together by looking like a door. The set is completed with a matching envelope.

Now, go see what holiday's the rest of the team has chosen to work with.

Happy Hopping or maybe I should say Happy Holidays! (cheesy, I know, but I just had to)
