The Play Date Cafe is hosting a Color Splash challenge this week. That means you focus on black and white with a tiny bit of the splash color. Here's what you get to play with:
COBALT BLUE!
Our sponsor this week is once again Want2Scrap.com and they were so kind to send us some gorgeous cobalt rhinestones. Here's how I put mine into play:
That flower stamp is from The Greenhouse Society series from Technique Tuesday. I just added some color using my watercolor pencils and topped it with that bling. And, you wanna know a secret? I messed up on my card. Huh? What? Me messing up? Yes, it's true and it happens all the time, but instead of scrapping the whole card, I try to find ways to salvage it. So, on this one, I covered up my poorly stamped sentiment with a new slightly larger one and popped it off the card. You can see an itty bit of the old there under the h. So, don't give up on cards you make mistakes on. There are always ways to fix them (well, most of the time).
Be sure to pop into The Play Date Cafe to see how the rest of the team is inspired. Also, lucky for you, there are some major changes about to happen, so there is currently a Design Team Call. We want you! Give it a try and submit your app. You could be the next teamie on the PDCC.
Have a great day!
