I love the 4th. In fact, it's probably safe to say that it is my favorite of all holidays. All of the red, white and blue gets me to feelin' all patriotic like and really being proud to be an American. We are BEYOND blessed to live in this country and to have the freedoms that we have. I am especially thankful for the freedom to worship my God in public and without consequence. Thank you Lord for all of those men and women who have given so much to this country.
I've often thought it would be fun to host a patriotic party, but alas, it seems we are always out of town visiting with family. If I did host a party, I would love to give these little cuties away to all of the kids who came.
These were SO EASY to create using the USA Seal from Technique Tuesday (and only $2.99). I found these adorable little bubble wands topped with stars at Wal-mart in the party section. With a little bit of masking tape on my stamp, I was able to create that multi-colored flag to pop off of the seal. Add a bit of sparkle and everyone is feeling festive. These babies are being featured over on the Technique Tuesday blog today as well.
I'm hoping with the extreme dry spell we are having around here, that they don't end up cancelling our fireworks show, because it is spectacular. It has been something like 30 days since we've had rain. But, I would rather be safe, than sorry.
I hope you enjoy your Independence Day - light a sparkler for me.

Oh la. la. la. Fabulous Jax!
