CSS May Release Day

You are finally able to see all of the amazing new releases this month at CLEAR & SIMPLE STAMPS.  You have GOT to pop over there and check them out.  I dare you to leave without putting at least one into your cart.

For today, the design team is using a stamp set of their choice from this release to showcase a project.  I chose the new STARS & STRIPES set.  I have a history of people in my family who have served in the military.  Both of my grandpa's were in wars, and I had an aunt who served as well.  I currently have a brother-in-law who is also in the Air Force.  Our soldiers deserve recognition for their hard work and dedication for keeping our country free.  I am so grateful.

My project was created with a soldier who is coming home in mind.  I thought it would be neat to make a little ensemble for a welcome home party.

A super simple banner using the new SHAPES: TRIANGLES dies from this release and a small decorative triangle from TRIANGLES PLUS.

A little card emphasizing how proud we are of our soldier for his/her service using the STARS & STRIPES.

and finally, a party isn't complete without some goodies, so I topped off these yummy german chocolate cupcakes with a simple welcome home tag.
