Playing With Watercolors (PDCC #118)

Some of you may remember a while back that Paper Crafts magazine had a call for projects using paint.  Well, I may have gone a bit overboard with the whole paint idea as the creative juices were going crazy.  In fact, I have a whoppin' five cards that feature paint in that upcoming issue.  Anyway, I actually went out and bought some expensive watercolors for my own personal stash.  I thought this week's Play Date Cafe colors would be perfect for them.  First, here are the bright and cheery colors:

I promise you will be seeing these colors all over the fashion world this Spring and Summer.  They are already starting to appear on clothes racks everywhere.  Aren't they fun?  As I was saying - watercolors.  I decided to just create a background using washes of these colors.  I then embossed my sentiment and image over the top and added a few stitches.  Here's what it looks like:

I had made another for this, but when I asked my family, every one of them liked this one better.  I guess the other will be for another day. :)  This week's sponsor is our monthly sponsor, Simon Says Stamp.
