Springy Sympathy (CFC #37)

Friiiiiiiiddddaaayyyyyyy!  Woo-hoo.  Payday!  Now I can buy groceries. :)

Alright, so Friday on my blog really means a new CAS-ual Fridays challenge.  This week there's a cutesy tootsie little sketch from our dear Laura.

(psst, did you notice that it has our sponsor listed on the graphic as Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps? Ok, just checkin')

For the ole sketch-a-roo, I decided to use up some of my paper scraps.  The pile has been growing and I'm pretty sure if I hadn't dug into it, it would've taken over my craft space.  I decided to make a sympathy card for this challenge.  Many of you probably know the amazing Teri Anderson.  Her father passed away this week, so I'm gonna send this one her way.

Please make a trip to the CAS-ual Fridays blog to see what our sponsor is giving away for a prize and to see what my teamies have been up to.

So glad you visited!

  1. I'm sure Teri will absolutely love this and appreciate it very much. I have to say this is one of my favorites of yours Jax. I love the touches of paper, the gems...the way everything is offset just a bit. Truly fabulous.

  3. This is simply darling! I love the mixy-matchy nature of the patterned strips inside the skewed frame. What a lovely, simple sentiment for the occasion, too.

  4. Really love this. Where are the sentiment stamps from, if you don't mind?

    1. Hi, the sentiments are rub-ons from Technique Tuesday. A while back they had a special kit they sold, I believe called Hope. I got mine at a CKC class and I don't believe they sell them anymore. But, Ali Edwards has some awesome texty stamps at techniquetuesday.com. Hope that helps! Thanks for stopping by.

  6. Love your layers of paper that are offset. Your border strip that is stitched and over the edge packs a punch. Fabulous card!
