Turn Up The Carols (PDCC #109)

Hi.

How is everyone faring with the holidays around the corner?  One of my favorite things to do around this time of year is listen to Christmas Carols.  It's my guilty indulgence.  My husband hates it because the instant the Friday after Thanksgiving hits, I tune into the all carols music channel and it is on pretty much 24 hours a day. It almost gets to the point where I get tired of it...almost.  I'm a huge music fan. I find that music just takes me away to a place that is so relaxing at times.  It can affect my moods even. That's one of the reasons why I was so excited to receive the stamp set I got from this week's sponsor at The Play Date Cafe, Sweet Stamp Shop.  It's called "Old School Rock" and it's awesome.

That being said, let's take a look at this week's color palette and the card I put together.

Some simple paper piecing here and to finish it all off, I glued down some string and chalked the edges in pink. Be sure to hop over to The Play Date Cafe to see how the rest of the team was inspired and to see what is up for grabs.

Thanks for stopping by - hope your day is fantastic!
