No honey, it is not sad, it is THE SWEETEST THING EVER! I love this because it means he knows me so well. Here's the card that was inside:
Yea, inspiration! Thanks hon, you have blinded me with your pure awesomeness! So, armed with this as a model for a card and using this week's colors from The Play Date Cafe, I set to work creating a card. (How could I not?) The color inspiration for this week is to use green, gold and silver.
and the card (because hubs inpired it, I thought it only proper to make it for him):
The paper is from the lucky collection by Little Yellow Bicycle - I had a really hard time determining if that foil was blue or silver - now that I see it on here, it looks more blue. Poo. Oh well, I think it's pretty. To create the glittered circle, I punched it and applied glossy accents and then sprinkled with glitter. Did you know glossy accents could be used for that? Me either until I saw it used on several people's blogs. The sentiment is embossed in gold. I hope you enjoyed today's post because I was so happy to share it! ;) Btw, be sure to stop by tomorrow for the new color challenge over at Off The Wall Craftiness - I have a really cute project to share this week. Buh-bye!
